Fallout builds

Fallout is a post apocolytic role playing game set in 2287, where the world is in short ruined by a nucular war shortly following world war two (forgive me if I am incorrect) I only play the spin off game fallout shelter where you look after a vault, a under ground shelter that people take refuge from the wastland ( the ruined world ) 

So here goes First we have Timons vault.

His vault door looks more like the actual vault door, I am a fan of the black door and keeping it all the same colour.

I built mine with no info or images untill after the build (not the best sitaution) 

I used tooth plates to create the side moving door

This here is a suit of power armour (the games iconic robot suit) the chest peice is android armour brought from Sabre Scorpian (search it, its really cool) a website.

The inside of the vault has a work station (not from the game directly) where the have a gun and the power armour station.

Me and Timons experience with modelling clay and hot glue

So recently Timon came around and we started experimenting with the marvels of modeling clay ( or fimo ) we are both big Star wars  fans, and set about creating  Kylo Rens mask and light sabre

So the masks didnt the work out as they weren't the right size and looked rather clunky. I wont't post them, however the lightsabres how ever worked all right, and here they are.

So Timons was made with a hot glue gun  (above)
He did it by cutting light sabre peicesup and glueing them to the hilt of the blade.

While I made mine from fimo.

Our new recruit

Hello it's Jay and I have some great news, I am pleased to announce that my good friend Timon is going to join me in my quest for Lego fame, in others words his builds will be featured as well as my own.

The Lego Speeder bikes

The Alien Speeder Bike Thing A Bobbys....

The lego language, this stuff I write to fill empty space on my page,no not really I just think that its interesting and you might like to learn a bit, "Blegh Lego... Learning?" you stutter. but really its intersting and I am going to write it any way so get used it it! 

There are some Unusual bricks out there and I would like to name a few of them. B.t.w I forgot to mention this last week but a flat brick (that when three are stacked on top of each other make the hight of a full brick) is called a plate. So a 1x4 brick (the equivalent of an three plates) with holes along the sides is called an 1x4 with side studs.

Now the little arches with the 1x1 stud jutted out, is called an 1x2 curved half arch. While these all have complicated names the little torch or candle fire peice is so easy I was surprised to hear it is called a Flame. not hard at all?

So now to the speeders bikes,and there drivers. There two names are Raven (the bulk of the two)

and Vulcan, the smaller faster more agile of the pair.

Raven is the human napping bike, which I guess allows the aliens to conduct experiments in the lab (show cased next week) The containment pod is on the under side, meaning if the kidnapped person
pukes then gravity is going to gravitate and there face is going to be stuck in the puke!

Interesting enough the cock pit is open faced and that suggests the aliens are tougher than humans.

 Vulcan is the smaller, faster more agile, where the driver would ge a big gun and just go in guns blazing. With open cock pit style blasters would be good in a dog fight on the streets. Although there would be the down side of having less protection.

The alien mechs

The Alien Mech

Hey guys sorry that I got side tracked for so long, Its just I got really lazy and in an attempt to make it up to you I shall continue this blog, like the original idea was.

So first things first I have started a new type of post - The Lego Language, or what each block is called. In the easy to swollow form


So lets star wtih the basics a lego block that is a oblong 8 studs in total (four on side) this is called a 2x4 or a 4x2 to be honest i dont know if the way you say it matters, if you where to cut it in half along the middle then you would get a1x4 and if you cut it in the middle side ways youd get 2x4, and if you cut that in half youd get 1x2 get it?





So now the Alien and Human mechs

The story behind this is that I watched a fantastic movie called Disterict Nine which for those who have seen it, must agree and awsomerobot mech, so naturally i had to build two, the humans and the aliens, this lead to alien speeder bikes (posted next week) and a few more. But after watching a two hour movie  I wasnt aloud to go on the computer so building one staight from my head with no refrences was rather tricky and it lead to mutiple break of weak legs and complaints that I dont have enough pieces.

Though in the wise word of and old mentor '' there is no try only do" so "did it I have". For those of you who didnt get that, go watch Star Wars. hahaha, no really!

Any way the aliens look is a sleek and dangerous, I know what I am doing look instead of I make robots that might hurt you, Yay! kind of way. The gun is very dangerous and would most proberly kill you with its green plasma cannon ball things.

Mean while the humans clunky yet, elegant design might suggest a  builder who was copying the instuctions and got side tracked, maybe alien instructions? We might not be all to smart?
The weapons are a rapid fire machine gun and of course the wonderful curcuit frying plasma gun!

Oh Yeah! The other thing is that the alien claws are mismatched, maybe suggesting there scavengers? Alot of room for story telling in this model! please give me suggestions behind the questions raised and maybe I shall write an action pack paragraph describing the battle?
