The Black Pearl - My Opinion

Hi, sorry I haven't posted here in a while. This is a post about the Lego Black Pearl. I got this a few months ago, I saved up my own money for it. In total it cost $180 including shipping from America. I would have posted about it earlier but I haven't had time.

Here is me and the Black Pearl. This gives you an idea how big it is.

This is the main mast where Will Turner and Maccus are having a battle.

This is the side view of the captains quarters. It opens up on both sides and at the end of the boat. The deck on top has a mast and the ships wheel on it and you can lift up the whole deck.

This is the front of the boat with a black mermaid. The point under the mermaid is the anchor of the boat. 

These are the minifigures that came with the set. Their names are Jack Sparrow, Maccus, Will Turner, Davey Jones, Bootstrap Bill and Mr Gibbs.

This shows the whole ship. My favourite part is the main mast with the pirate flag. It has a platform for Lego guys to be put on.

It is one of my best sets that I have got and it was worth saving up so much money. The size could be better probably, it could be a bit longer. It took me about 3 hours to build with a little bit of help from my second dad. It was a bit frustrating to build because the bits came apart sometimes. The characters were very well detailed. My favourite is Davey Jones. If I was a Lego designer I would make there be more buildings on the ship.

If you do decide to buy it I reckon you should get it from Ebay because it wasn't on sale in New Zealand and it was the cheapest place online. It took me about 6 months to save up plus lots and lots of Christmas and birthday money that I received. Rating for me is 9 out of 10.
